'그렇다면 3차원 공간에서의 입체화된 한글은 어떻게 활용될 수 있을까?' 라는 발상에서 본 프로젝트는 시작되었습니다.
읽기 위한 도구를 넘어 ‘일상의 오브제’로서 3차원 공간에 색다른 감성과 새로운 쓰임을 제공합니다.

“책 속의 한글이 책 밖으로 튀어나와 3차원 공간에서 어떤 쓰임을 가질 수 있을까?”란 생각에서 시작된 프로젝트입니다.
다독을 하는 사람들은 좋은 글귀가 나오면 책에 밑줄을 긋거나 메모를 하곤 합니다.

이때 JIEUT MOONJIN은 책을 고정해주는 문진으로서의 도움을 줍니다.
글자로서의 ‘JIEUT’은 뒤집으면 사용하지 못합니다. 하지만 오브제로서의 ‘JIEUT’은 뒤집으면 펜을 거치하는 거치대로서의 쓰임을 더 할 수 있습니다.

This project started with the idea, “What kind of use can the Korean alphabet in a book have when it comes out of the book and in a 3d space?”
People who read extensively often underline or make notes in books when they come across good passages. At this time, JIEUT MOONJIN helps as a paperweight that holds the book in place.
‘JIEUT’ as a letter cannot fulfill its role if reversed. However, ‘JIEUT’ as an object can be further used as a pen holder when turned over.
